Yesterday THEHOTJEM.COM announced that Jeeno would be releasing the visuals to his latest track called Come Over. The track that features golden boy Magasco aka ‘Pass me the lighter’, is an afrobeat uptempo groovy song and the timing of his video cannot be missed as it drops today a week before Christmas. Directed by Adah Akenji, the video is colorful and takes place in the Kwata aka quartier setting. Read all about Jeeno and his new song HERE and then watch the video and feel the vibes!
The song is a really good collabo with Magasco whom we think was a great choice for the song. However, if you don’t watch the video and only listen to it, sometimes it’s hard to tell who is singing what verse as their vocals sound quite similar and blend well together. Of course if you are familiar with Magasco’s music, you will pick up some of his catch phrases that gives him away. Watching the video, we had mixed feelings… Magasco seemed to dominate the screen and if you didn’t know who’s song this was, at times you might have thought it was an even collabo between the two artists or one might think the song is Magasco’s as the video seemed to have more shots of him than Jeeno.

But then again, with his blonde hair and cool gestures, Magasco seems to have mastered his swag moves on the screen. However, when we did see Jeeno, it was evident that he was carrying his weight and had a presence. From a video quality perspective, lets just say Adah Akenji (in my opinion) is getting better and better as he adds more video’s to his name. The overall color scheme was consistent throughout the video and we know you will enjoy it and will be blasting it in your cars and at parties into the New Year.
