Tanzanian singer Zuchu has reportedly parted ways with her boyfriend Diamond Platnumz according to Diamond’s sister Esma. Rumors circulating are that Zuchu felt jealous after Diamond reunited with his ex girlfriend Sarah.
Esma revealed on Wasafi Fm that Zuchu left Diamond’s home taking all her belongings with no plans to return.
“She said she is not returning. She is ignoring Diamond’s phone calls and is extremely upset. She made it clear she won’t come back even if it means risking her life. She took everything, including her toothbrush. My mother also pleaded with her not to leave, but she did.” – Esma adde.
Confirming the rumors during a recent performance, Diamond opened up to his fans saying…
“Love has many trials. As I speak to you today, I have come from home not knowing whether I have been left or if our love still endures. A strange occurrence has unfolded at my house. A situation so perplexing and incomprehensible. I don’t know if I’ve been abandoned or if love still persists. Please keep me in your prayers”
Diamond also reunited with Sarah on stage during this same performance. According to him, Sarah contributed to the kind of success he’s enjoying today. They shared a tight hug on stage as Diamond appreciated her. (See comment section)
Zuchu has however, clarified why she left Diamond. According to her statement, she left because of the controversial nature of their relationship.
“I know being famous and talked about is normal. But kindly don’t go overboard giving me false praises just to glorify the boss, especially in the local media where you can also get the truth and balance your stories. This is the real reason why I left. It’s tiring to be with a man who pushes you to people to be insulted, and he’s the one used to humiliate you” – Zuchu
