For those of you who are following Fashion news religiously, I’m sure you already know that the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in NYC is actively going on now with top designers showcasing their 2015 collections! I will spare you the names this time around but one of those designers who had a chance to showcase her Cameroonian inspired 2015 collection on September 9th is Kibonen Nfi of Kibonen NY.
To celebrate this major milestone, many fashionista’s , fashion bloggers and well known celebs such as Cameroonian NBA star Luc Mbah a Moute (who also celebrated his birthday at the event and who was there to support Kibonen) and retired NBA star Dikembe Mutombo.
One of my wishes was to one day bump into any one of my favorite bloggers that I follow – anywhere on this planet… and that I did! At the after party I was so excited to see NY based fashion blogger Paola – the beautiful girl behind Finding Paola (see pictures below). I totally adore her and she is as sweet as I thought she would be. Even more exciting was seeing her wearing one of her African inspired head pieces that she designs.
