Sunday night seems to have been epic, as a host of Nollywood celebrities converged at the Genesis Deluxe Cinema-Lekki, to watch the private screening of Omoni Oboli’s movie “wives on Strike”. The private premier was attended by stars such as Monalisa Chinda, Blessing Egbe, Uche Jombo, Chioma Akpotha, Bovi and Julius Agu among others. The movie is a hilarious comedy about a group of market women who decided to act against their husbands in an attempt stir them into standing up for a young girl whom they wanted to protect from the wishes of her father.
These women set a series of events in motion that will keep you laughing till the very last second of the movie. The movie features Uche Jombo, Omoni Oboli, Ufuoma McDermott, Chioma Chukwuka-Akpotha, Kenneth Okonkwo and Julius Agu to mention a few.
