King B dropped a diss song not for himself, but for the nation, and that is exactly why in 1stone, he made mention of the fact that “It is Ghana vs Cameroon”, he showed respect for Ghana as a nation, and rather went for his target.
Insulting Ghana wouldn’t be an issue for him, but for a child who was taught to respect morals and who uses his senses to the fullest, he would not insult a whole community because of one person’s mistake, talk not of a country.
On the other hand, Kaodenero went on to school Lyrical Joe and it really hurt because he even revealed things about Ghana that the Ghanaian himself didn’t know. There were no insults, no disrespect, just facts.
So if you’re wondering why King B’s track got more attention, listen to his track #1stone one more time. It wasn’t about himself as others went pulling a rope and wanting to prove their versatility and know-how. He went as far as dissing his home brothers in the same track for supporting foreigners.
He said “it didn’t matter who it was that was dissed. I would have intervened for that country’s sake”. This is just like a blessed assurance and even the young ones will love such an example that’s why if you go to his pages, you will find out that he’s ready to work with this generation and change things for good.
Even on his live videos on his social media platforms, his interaction is magical. He is hard-core but very friendly, relatable, he hates disrespect and trust this word, he’s very appreciative. Most artists have a sense of entitlement, like people owe them support, but King B is proving to not be that kind.
If he had 2000 viewers/streamers on his live stream, he attempts to mention all their names, making them feel at home and safe. This is a huge step many artists neglect. This is simple, he’s talented like any other person, but he’s got the ethics and everything a soldier needs to go to war for his country.
King B has got a lot in the mix for especially young and aspiring rappers and artists. There are examples to emulate and this is one of those. Make sure you are following all of his pages on all social media platforms.
Let’s be patriotic and put our respective country first. That is the first responsibility of a responsible citizen. It will never fail you.
