“They say a place of valor is not a play ground for little children, and if they must play, it is better they look for a play ground”. So is the case with the media nowadays.
What are we insinuating here? It’s simple. The media is not a place where you can comfortably joke around, as everyone can twist a piece of information to what they desire and make it be what they want it to be.
On Christmas Day, Martin Enow, the older brother of hip-hop artist Stanley Enow, posted on his Facebook page the following:
“so you think I’m doing this just for his very pretty and baby face or just because STANLEY ENOW the King Kong is the best rapper in the world with a magnificent album #StanleyvsEnow?
Hell no. I do it for the money I have made behind the success of King Kong Huh.
Protect and promote what you have, else you will keep dreaming about others all your life BB. Motherland BB”
Many who read Martin’s post interpreted it in their own way and twisted it to mean a lot of things and that is why we say the media is no play ground to play o. It is always fun until it is no longer fun!
After reading between the lines, Martin’s post is an example of loyalty displayed. Giving credit to he who deserves it.
In that post, Martin makes it very clear that with all the money he has made from his younger brother, he could as well have walked away as many opportunists would and let Stanley to rumble with his haters and trolls by himself. But for the sake of gratitude and gratefulness, Martin stays loyal to what he has reaped from Stanley’s harvests and to ensure nothing hinders more from coming.
