MBENG LILIAN QUESTIONS CAMEROONIAN MOVIE PRODUCERS IN HER FIRST MOVIE
In her first attempt as a movie producer, Mbeng Lilian, popularly CARO has set the records straight with the only movie making waves across the Cameroon entertainment space right now. To some it might just be a movie, but to others it’s an answered question to whether Cameroonians are ready to March onto YouTube to consume home movies.
THE GENESIS OF THE MOVIE SETTLED
Lilian’s debut project as a producer is titled “SETTLED” and it has quickly become a fan favorite not only because it’s short and precise, but because it exceeded the expectations of many viewers whom she (Lilian) and her team have left them begging for more of the same.
While movie lovers are gushing over the characters’ showcase in the movie, The HotJem goes as far back as “Half Heaven”, which is a movie set where Mbeng Lilian, Seehofer Roland, and Malvis-Ann, all met on set for the very first time, and the rest is history. After two years of building a budding relationship, they’ve gone on to unlock what we can’t deny that is the hottest movie from around here at least even if one wouldn’t agree based on personal opinion, the movie, hitting 60,000 views on YouTube and garnering over 11,000 organic Subscribers, within the same time is proof enough that fans are having it.

Despite how much he is disrespected by his wife, he continues to struggle to keep his cool and his home until he can no longer take it. Tufoin ends up in the arms of Bih, who’s Arrah’s best friend after he moved out of Arrah’s apartment.
EDITOR’s OBSERVATIONS
To be candid, the storyline is not an exaggerated one as it’s not uncommon in our society to find such things happen even if this one might just have been fictional. Hence there’s really nothing too special about the storyline in my opinion. The cast isn’t extensive, as only four people took central stage permitting the movie to not have unnecessary scenes. The cinematographers did a brilliant job with the pictures/images too.
However, Mbeng Lilian’s ability to effortlessly impose her acting talent that doesn’t leave the fans seeing more of a comedienne is versatility that must be highlighted. She completely ate her part and this would keep you wondering why many movie directors and producers who know how good of a talent she is, have been ignoring her…
About Seehofer Roland, it’s disappointing that many need to only watch SETTLED before finding out how much of an amazing actor he’s. He’s been in South Africa for the most of his career, and the way he brings emotions to his roles, always explains why he’s often the lead actor in most of his movies.
I was wondering why the movie was so short too, but I’m quite sure that the producer was testing the depth of the water with one leg, to avoid getting drowned in regrets, given that it’s her first project. The feedback she has received so far will obviously fire her hastily into her next project. In all, there’s absolutely no way you can’t give Mbeng Lilian her flowers.
