There’s an African MC in Norway making a name for herself in the entertainment scene, and her name is Charlene Egbe. The 26-year-old international host and MC has lived in Norway for 18 years and has roots in both English-speaking regions of Cameroon. Her father is from Mamfe in the Southwest Region, while her mother is from the Northwest Region.
Her work in entertainment has led her to host events featuring African stars such as J Martins, Kiss Daniel, Stonebwoy, Iyanya, Diamond Platnumz, Olamide and Fally Ipupa. She has hosted events across Europe, including in Belgium, Germany, Norway, Sweden and Austria, as well as in Cameroon.

Charlene Egbe is no stranger to promoting the events she hosts, using her platform to create awareness and encourage people to attend. As a host, she focuses on keeping audiences engaged and making the event an enjoyable experience from start to finish.
Outside of hosting, Charlene is also a certified chef and dance instructor in Norway. She speaks English, Norwegian and Pidgin English and enjoys working out. At the time of this feature, she was also pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Social Work while continuing to build her career in entertainment.
