Everything about the U.S. seems to be smart, intelligent and patriotic. It should not surprise anyone if they were told that US citizens are the most patriotic. But how many people would think that about a dog being as patriotic of more than a U.S. citizen? How does it even sound calling a dog the most patriotic animal?
The Isis leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, has been a major problem and a threat to the entire U.S. They kept battling to hunt him down and after employing a lot of military on the field in Syria, it turns out that it is a dog that solved the issue for the U.S. military, and boy, there is no regrets calling this dog the legendary Patriotic dog. The Dog is a hero and it is being applauded by the entire country including the President.
Even the American president, Donald J. Trump took to his Twitter page and tweeted a picture of this legendary dog with a caption as seen below. Not only did he tweet about it, he also pinned the dog’s picture to his Twitter wall for all to see making this canine the most popular dog in the U.S. right or so we think.
We have declassified a picture of a wonderful dog (name not declassified) that did such a GREAT JOB in capturing and killing the leader of ISIS, Abu Bakr al-Bghdadi!” said Trump in a tweet
But as you will expect, the battle would never have been easy for the dog either, as reports say the dog sustained injuries and has not yet been released. The dog chased the ISIS leader into a tunnel where he detonated his suicide vest, killing himself and three children.
Reports say the U.S. military commonly uses Belgian Malinois dogs to guide and protect troops, search out enemy forces and look for explosives. The breed is prized for its intelligence and ability to be aggressive on command, said Ron Aiello, president of the United States War Dogs Association.
