MTV announced this year’s nominees for the Video Music Awards on Tuesday afternoon, and many artists were excited as they copped a couple nominations or more. Beyoncé led the pack with a whopping 11 nominations for Lemonade. Adele closely followed with 8 Nominations, with Ariana Grande and Drake also received at least four nominations of their own.
However, Nick Jonas was disappointed because he was left out of the fun. He was hoping the excellent video for his Tove Lo collab “Close” would net him a nomination, but unfortunately that did not happen. The “Jealous” singer took to Twitter to express his sadness over the news. He was frustrated at first, but he quickly turned his focus on the positivesthings he has going on.

Actually after thinking about it more there are so many amazing things happening in my life and career. 9 out of 10 boxes are checked…

Won't let this one thing get to me. I'm feeling so inspired and grateful these days. Gonna focus more on caring less about the small stuff.
