Nigerian Actor John Boyega’s Mom Tells Him To Fry Plaintains

Yesterday British Nigerian actor John Boyega known for his recent role in the movie Star Wars posted on Twitter  that the first thing his mom said to him after not seeing her for a week as he walking through the door was “go and fry plaintain” as in dodo (as called in Cameroon)!!! His mom was not playing! She was probably like “Don’t think because you are a big time movie star now that you won’t get down and dirty in my kitchen”!!! An African mom is really an African mom!! You gotta love our African mothers ha ha ha 🙂
