Tems has received a lot of criticism on social media and has been slammed on social media, expecially on Twitter, for her choice of outfit worn at the Oscars, as many people complained that her her “elaborate” outfit’s headpiece blocked the view of other attendees who sat behind her, at Sunday night’s Academy Awards. This led to ongoing discussions on what is and is not appropriate to wear during such events.
Some tweeted that it was inconsiderate of her to wear that at such an award and that there should rules on what to not wear at such events, while others came to her defense and tweeted that she is being attacked for her gown because she is black and if a Caucasian woman wore an outfit that blocked the view of others, people will not make a big deak about it and it would suddenly be considered a fashion favorite.
Question: Do you think there should be rules for dress code sfor attendees at events like the Oscars?
