The Cocowols International Fashion Festival is around the corner and it’s theme song is finally out titled ‘Taking Over’. The track is composed and performed by an up and coming artist from Cameroon called LesLine who is signed to Niki Heat Entertainment.
LesLine is a 21-year-old Cameroonian Afro Jazz artist, and she was a semi-finalist on Season One of The Voice Afrique Francophone and her electrifying rendition of Moni Bile’s ‘Osi Tapa Lambo Lam’ during the blind auditions is often mentioned amongst the best ever.
“I grew up Limbe and feel honored to have been asked to do this song. I look forward to performing it live in front of my city” said LesLine. Cocowols International Fashion Festival is scheduled for May 10th – 12th, 2018 in Limbe, Cameroon. LesLine won the 2017 Camer Green Music competition and currently serves as spokesperson for Camer Green and the United Nations Environment Programme’s Music for the Environment initiative in Cameroon.
