In the last 24 hours, A-list Nigerian artists have been trending. It started with Davido jump starting his birthday and asking all those who he has ever supported at some point in time to send him money. He even went as far as calling out names of celebrities to send him money. He spared no one and called out names of many popular and rich African artists, business partners, within Africa that he has either collaborated with, helped out or is friends with.
Heck, he even called out billionaire Femi Otedola’s name too )who did send him money). The overall response to his request has been more than phenomenal with millions of Naira’s flooding into his bank account from celebrities, friends and supporters and him posting snapshots of those who sent money to his stories for proof.
Meanwhile, on the other end of the spectrum, Davido is out there getting money from his rich millionaire and billionaire friends, Nigerians most popular twin brothers, Paul and Peter Okoye, who go by the stage name P-Square, have finally reunited after the group disbanded reportedly in 2016, supposedly over a disagreement about the role of their manager.
During their time apart there was a lot of taking sides and he-said, she-said making matters worse. Their fans prayers have been heard as over the last 5 years of so during their separation, fans have been begging these two to get back together.
Although Peter and Paul we doing their own solo acts musically during the separation period and were each doing very well individually, fans were not fulfilled and wanted them to get back together again as P-Square. They are the most successful boy band in Africa to date.
On another note, when P-Square were separated, many of their friends and family took sides; you had those who were on Peter’s side and the others on Paul’s side. Now that they are back together again, what will happen to the friends and family who automatically became enemies with the brother they did not side with?
This is why you should never inherit fights of siblings because when all the dust has been settled and they are on good terms again, YOU will become the enemy. Imagine the look on the faces of all those who took sides and supported one twin over the other while telling their twin friend to hate the other twin? Do not say you have not been warned!
