Paris Labor Court Orders PSG To Pay Kylian Mbappe €60 Million After Contract Dispute

A French labor court has ruled that Paris St Germain must pay Kylian Mbappe €60m after finding that the club failed to respect key parts of his contract during the final months of his stay in Paris. This decision ends one of the most talked about legal battles in modern soccer involving a superstar player and a powerful European club. Earlier in the dispute, €55m in PSG’s accounts had already been frozen after a request by Mbappe’s lawyers. This move showed how serious the case had become and added pressure on the club while the court reviewed the matter. The final judgment reinforced that action and made the payment obligation official.

PSG responded by saying they respect the court’s decision and will carry it out, while keeping the option to appeal open. In their statement, the club insisted they acted in good faith throughout the situation and said they now want to focus on unity and future success. They also wished Mbappe well in his career, which continues at Real Madrid after he joined the Spanish club on a free transfer.
