Raven Symone Shock’s Oprah Winfrey

“I’m an American, and that’s a colorless person” say’s Raven Symone in her recent interview with Oprah!

There has been a lot of buzz and talk about the former Disney Star…Raven Symone (who first came to our attention during her appearances in America’s favorite family TV series “The Cosby Show“. Raven who is currently trying to “find” herself had made statements about her identity and sexuality that caused a lot of people talking about her! In a recent interview with Oprah Winfrey, the former Disney star says “I’m not an African-American. I’m an American”. There has been a lot of back lash from a lot of people towards her statement and this only makes you wonder if those who are called “African-Americans” really embrace or acknowledge their African roots or if they are ashamed to be linked to anything African and would rather just be called American.  Watch this video and tell me what you think!
