R’booney Gabriel Wins Miss Universe 2022 Title

The winner for the 71st Miss Universe pageant is fashion designer R’Bonney Gabriel, She was born and raised in Houston, TX, USA. She had won the Miss USA 2022 title. The TX resident, whose alma mater is the University of North Texas, graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Design, with a minor in Fibers. It should come as no surprise to many that she has her own clothing line that is eco conscious that are made from sustainable materials.

Gabriel has made history twice as she became the first Asian American woman to win the title of Miss Texas USA in June and then the first American-Filipino to win Miss USA in October. Her mother is a caucasian American and her father is an immigrant from Phillipines.
