Apple fans are always known to be so loyal and might be said to be too loyal, as some parts of the Apple fan base have earned a reputation for having “family-like” loyalty towards the company.
Nonetheless, a new study done by Consumer Intelligence Research Partners (CIRP) shows that; Android users have higher brand loyalty than iOS users. TechCrunch’s report on the CIRP’s study, which shows that Android-brand loyalty has been on the rise since 2016, and is currently the highest in the history of an Operating System [OS].

Android currently enjoys a loyalty rate of 91%, as compared to the 86% owned by iOS. As the criteria to measure, compare and contrast brand loyalty, the CIRP looked at the percentage of consumers/users that stayed with their previous OS even after upgrading their phones.
