Reniss releases her EP “Express Vol. 1“, produced by Le Monstre and recorded at New Bell Music studio in Yaoundé, Cameroon. Reniss’ “Mboko” sound combines pop music, traditional African styles, and subject matter that connects with people across cultures.
In this EP, Reniss fuses English, French, Pidgin and Nguemba languages together with her fearless style and energetic stage presence foretell her evolution into a pop icon in the African music scene. One of our favorite of the five songs in this EP is “Night Life“, a groovy song where she sings mostly in Pidgin and little French. Other songs in this EP are Imitation, Shower, Doudou and Eya Eya.
