Shura kicks off the New Year with the release of her 1st video for her latest song Tranquille (the audio was released last September). Tranquille is a beautiful dance-able and upbeat dance song with a positive vibe that will brighten anyone’s day. The video is equally as pleasing with it’s very colorful and easy on the eye visuals. Produced by CFX (who also produced her hit song Allez Dire), the beats are groovy and the video goes very well with the song, bringing it to life. In this video, we see a cheerful, vibrant and slightly playful side of Shura who is seemingly just having a good time. Notably, her Afro which is a statement of confidence and the first scenes have her wearing a beautiful African print sleeveless top.

In this video, Shura is taking her hairstyle back to basics. If you have been following her work since the start of her career, you will know that Shura enjoys rocking her natural hair, as she frequently has cornrows, braids, plaits and threads her hair. So we were so happy seeing her in a big “FRO“. Her Afrocentric fashion style and overall vibe in the video slightly reminds us of singer Reniss who would surely appreciate Shura’s style!

Everything about this video is likeable. You would think it was done in Cuba. That’s the feeling we get.
