There’s an artist we’ve been watching who goes by the name of SNAZZY. I guess you can say with a name like SNAZZY it’s hard to forget him! He’s a Cameroonian artist signed under his independent record label called Lion Nation Entertainment.The official release of his Video called “Je Ne Ment Pas” was on June 2nd, 2018 on YouTube as well as a celebrity studded video launch party.

The video release which included an official video launch party in Limbe – Cameroon, had some of Cameroon’s well known music industry personalities like singer Blaise B of Alpha Better Records, video Director Adah Akenji and many more. So you can only imagine that he was set off to a great start! Je Ne Ment Pas is a love song where SNAZZY declares his love to his girl and promises her the finer things in life.
THJ was able to catch SNAZZY and ask him a couple of questions about his new song Je Ne Ment Pas as follows:
THJ: Tell me how you feel about your new song?
SNAZZY: Personally I feel the song is a classic afro arts/tune to express and assure a long lasting relationship to your partner with a blend of our national and pidgin languages.
THJ: Why do you think people will like it?
SNAZZY: People will relate to the song because the music carries a romantic message which could relate to our daily love life’s. Additionally the melody, word play and rhythm gives a punch to the listener.
Je Ne Ment Pas which we think has a bit of an afro pop feel to it was directed by Adah Akenji and the visuals which include a lot of seaside water/beach-like scenery and romantic feel makes you want to take a much needed vacation on a beautiful island! So watch the video as SNAZZY flirts and tries to woo his love interest by promising her the finer things life has to offer.
