John Legend watch out because there is a new artist making waves in Africa… Cameroon to be specific! Strange Kings Music presents a new love song by a singer named Wazih called “I Will Find You” that was Produced by Geega. This song and video is quite unique in that it tells a story with memory flashabacks and the video is like a mini movie.
Something you rarely see in the Cameroonian music industry. After listening to this love song, even without paying attention to the lyrics, it has a kind of melancholic vibe and feeling to it as the song is about loosing a loved one and initially it’s not clear if his loved one was lost as a result of death or if they moved on to love someone else and if he (Wazih) will find her again and win her heart!
The video which was Directed by a young music video director from Cameroon called Geraldrico Guevara did a really good job in adding to that sad feeling of loss and going back in time as the video provides a cinematic and artistic visual that takes the viewer through a collection of mental conflicts as well as takes us to a not-so-distant past.
