2016 has come and gone (almost). There were many things I wanted to do and achieve and people to meet. Some will be carried over into 2017 (and will get done). But one of my wishes was to meet with one of my favorite Cameroonian MUA’s – Lelio Achanga. Look – ever since I saw her Halloween Make-up skills and other grotesque looks she created for movie sets back in 2014 I was wow’ed! This girl’s got some skillzzzz and does not play. I have told people that her skills are such that they should be used on the set of an A-list movie in Hollywood!!
Anyway, I always said that I would have her do my make-up someday even if it were just to put it on me to look pretty and I finally had my wish this year during my stay in Cameroon this summer and yes she’s very pleasant. Anyway, my point is that when you want something to happen you should go for it and make it happen. If you set goals, stick to the plan to achieve them! Just remember that time waits for no one.
