It’s been nothing but a thumping and unprecedented week for Lionn Productions coupled with the exiting and unforeseen updates of one of their own that seemed to be an amicable decision after many deliberations according to all the parties.
Firstly, it was the boss man himself, Mr. Leo, who gained a reputable Recording Academy Voting membership, then to one of his two artists signed under his label Gomez in the last week of June announced the release of his EP “UltraVision”, followed by the shocking news of the label parting ways with Gomez. Damn! OK, let’s take one step back and breathe a little so we can put things into perspective.
It should be noted that Gomez was Mr. Leo’s first artist under Lionn Productions but was not the one Mr. Leo first contacted. Gomez was joined by Kameni in the label and despite being seemingly more talented (according to popular opinion) and with a successful future in music ahead of him, Kameni seemed to have rolled the pressure off her sleeves and put them all on Gomez with her achievements.
Before Gomez moved to be signed under Lionn Productions, he was an artist under Reta Music. His move to Lionn Productions was welcomed by fans of good music who were also fans of Mr. Leo (as Gomez was known for his “singing of love songs” potential, just like Mr. Leo) waiting to see the Gomez’s career take another turn for the best.
