She has been the most lucrative and most active artist since signing under this label. A fun fact is that her number on streaming platforms speak for itself. By this, we are saying that you can’t blame Gomez’s bad spell in the label on Kameni at least when it comes to the part she’s played as an artist and the work she’s out in as well.
Gomez recorded his first song in the label before Kameni and all his numbers combined can’t even be compared to the numbers of one of Kameni’s Mashups tracks, which is at over one million YouTube views. Talk more of her other singles like “Nayo Nayo”, “Boss”, “Bolo” etc.
Plus, she has also released an EP “Love and Hustle”. It’s ok to feel bad for Gomez who is extremely talented but who isn’t getting the much-deserved attention. Or does he deserve it? We wouldn’t know until we see more consistent work from him. It is also fair to admit that Kameni’s music is more relatable to surrounding audience as she talks about everyday struggles and life in general. Her choice of stories and her positioning for opportunities has been incredible.
