“… words cannot express my gratitude. Thank you for believing in this Bamenda boy…” – Magasco
2019 is really the year of “doing” and implementing. Earlier today, Singer Magasco announce what we think might be the biggest move of his career. The singer took to his Twitter page to announce that the “birth of his baby” aka his new record label which is calls BBOY Records as seen in the snapshot below.
Although he announced this, he still gave credit to his Empire Records headed by Pitt Bacardi. Magazco who has been signed to Empire for more than 4 years thank his former Boss by saying “To my big brother, Pit Baccardi, words cannot express my gratitude. Thank you for believing in this Bamenda boy…”
People have been speculating or should we say people have been wondering when and if Magasco would leave Empire. Many have said that he is a patient guy and feels he owes Pitt for giving him the opportunity in the first place. However, many have also said that Pitt only looks out for himself and that some other key artists left him because of that him like Nami Nami Cyrus and X–Maleya and Le Gris to name a few.

The questions we have right now are: What will happen to Rhythmz? What about Mimie whom we her just extended her contract with Empire? Did she extend it due to her pregnancy to secure a contract? Is she really happy or is she just content with her “1st Lady” of Empire tittle?
We hope that if they stay behind, that they have something to show for it. But we won’t hold our breath. We will be watching Rhythmz to see what happens in the next year or two.
