To all you Gospel music lovers and artists, there is now a new Awards show called the EMMI Awards – a Cameroon Gospel Achievement Awards, dedicated to celebrating stakeholders in Gospel Entertainment. The EMMI Awards is very much needed in a music industry where Gospel music is not often celebrated like other genres of music and although Gospel Entertainment has grown tremendously over the years, it is not as visibly appreciated in the music industry. This Award will hopefully help to solve this issue.
The first edition would be granting awards in 14 Categories and will also have some Lfetime Achievement Awards and nominations are currently open on The official EMMI AWARDS Facebook page HERE where you can nominate your favorite song, musician and more in any of the14 categories (as seen below) by commenting on their Facebook page with the name and the category you want to nominate them for. Deadline for nominations is October 31, 2018.
There is more to this Award cermeony than just giving out awards. You also stand the chance of being an Ambassador of Goodwill. If you have a humanitarian project that needs funding, you stand a chance of being an Ambassador of Goodwill, with a 500, 000 FCFA cash price to sponsor your project.
