Nigerian movie star Annie Idibia, who has acted in over 200 movies and more than 20 TV shows, is the wife of 2Baba aka 2Face Idibia, who’s arguably one of the biggest African music stars.
If “for better, for worse” was a woman, it would definitely be Annie, who has seen and heard it all, in her relationship with 2Face!
Annie, revealed that the only man she has ever had in her life, is her husband 2Face. According to her, she started her relationship with 2Baba when she was just a teen. She was 15, and at the time, 2face was not yet a star that he became years later. Before he became a star, their relationship was just okay and were good friends too. She revealed that she only woke up one morning to realize that her guy was already a global superstar. This is when their problems actually started.
She has been married to 2Face for over a decade, but it will suffice you to know that despite her being the first woman in the singer’s life, she was not the first woman to have a child or children for her husband. As a matter of fact, 2Baba had four children with different women, before ever having one with Annie. Before getting married in 2012, Pero and Sumbo already had at least two children each for 2Face.
Annie’s first child came in 2008. 2Face and Sumbo broke up in 2009 after having two children together, while the relationship with Pero ended after they had their last child together in 2012. After getting married in 2012, Annie welcomed her second and last child in 2014. Despite all the cheating scandals that have surrounded 2Baba’s career, Annie has stood by him every single time. Both are living together nowadays.
There will be very few people to stand the tests of time that she has stood. What even shocked the world more, was when she renewed her vows with 2Baba during their 10th anniversary celebration. They married in 2012, and renewed their vows in 2022. 2Face has seven children altogether, three with Pero, Two with Sumbo and two with Annie.
About their last child Olivia, Annie recently revealed that she had a lot of complications, and only started walking when she was about 7-years-old after several surgeries. All of 2Face’s seven children are doing well. In 2018, Pero, who had accused Annie of “snatching her man” finally made up with Annie. Nowadays, Annie is always seen with all of her husband’s other children, as they are all one family. It is difficult for another woman to welcome the children of her rivals.
