When Pascal left, it seemed like a nightmare, but Jovi doesn’t sleep, so who had the nightmare? The boss is human so he would normally feel that, but he had a vision to protect and thank goodness he could lean on the shoulders of Tata Lunga, Reniss and Ndukong (February 16) who understood the vision and stuck to it.
With the availability of Reniss who was on fire during these crises, a city built on the hill couldn’t hide. She went from strength to strength and stood for the label and she’s still part and parcel of the house.
A few years later, New Bell Music has reshaped and revitalized, investing heavily on Tata and the Nigerian sensation Ishaku. Both artists in the later days of 2019 made their impressions felt and they are not slowing down either in 2020. Ishaku has an EP produced out and Tata has had had a couple of projects too. So what really happened that others who left didn’t get the opportunity to release individual projects but Reniss, Tata and Ishaku have? This should ring a bell.
