It has been a very sad two days in the music industry as people (including us at THJ) are still in shock at the death of yet another music icon and legend -Prince! It was also confirmed today that his body was cremated after an autopy was conducted. It could take weeks to get the full report on his autopsy but in the meantime fans have been gathering around his Paisley Park estate in Minnesota paying tribute to the star. Even today as I walked into a grocery store to pick something up I heard them blasting some of his songs in his memory.
Only then did it sink in that he was really gone. So the question is why was Prince cremated? Who knows… It is not sure if he had a will or not or who he left his estate to. According to nbcnews.com the”final storage”of Prince’s remains would remain private, but an announcement about a “musical celebration” is forthcoming, the statement said.” RIP Prince. Tome you were one of my top 5 singers. I for one will continue playing my all time favorite songs of Prince’s at the gym “Let’s Go Crazy” and “Baby I’m a Star” because he were a true star!
