Stanley Enow’s concert on February 11 in Douala is not going to be forgotten anytime soon. It was a night tagged Stanley Vs Enow, named after his recently released second album called Stanley Vs Enow and you might have felt it was all about the King Kong (as he is commonly referred to by his fans) but there was more to it.
There were a lot of talking points that one could at least look at and be proud about how far Cameroonian music has come. With amazing performances from artists like Mr. Leo, Magasco, Blaise B and many other impressive displays.
When we threw a poll a day after the show to know who impressed on the night, the fans mostly listed the artists mentioned above but what about Lesline and Stéphane Akam? These two not performed as well but they almost stole the show. This is the night when a lover of good music would say, “yes this is it!”
