THESE TWO WEST AFRICAN SINGERS MADE LOVERS OF GOOD CAMEROONIAN MUSIC PROUD
1. Lesline
It was sad to find out that many had only discovered an earth-quaking artist like Lesline that night. Need I remind you that Lesline is not new to the music game?
After being an impressive contestant during the first ever season of The Voice Africa francophone in 2016, Lesline was already a talent to watch out for, but Cameroon is what it is. She has been on some great projects since then, officially a peace activist, possibly one of the reasons why she restructured her sound. She is also signed to Niki Heat Entertainment.
Her cover of Stanley Enow’s “My Way” song which she performed at the concert on February 11, busted everyone’s bubble. It never sounded like the very song we had listened to before. Her high pitch vocal and ability to strike the soul tells you a lot about what this soloist of an artist can offer anytime she comes on stage. On stage, she seems to be a totally diferent persona that takes over her soul as you can visibly see how into her music she is as if a spirit has taken over her (in a good way).
is the link to her “my way cover” though it sounded all anew on the night. 👇👇
