THESE TWO WEST AFRICAN SINGERS MADE LOVERS OF GOOD CAMEROONIAN MUSIC PROUD
2. Stéphane Akam
Then there is Stéphane Akam who walks up on stage and humbly takes everyone unawares with his intriguing free-flowing guitar display.
Many do not seem to know him either but this guy alone is music himself. If the Cameroonian crowd cheers you while on stage, then you must have done something really special as they are known to be very nonreactive nor are they known to show excitement (not to talk of cheering a performer) during concerts or shows. The fact that Stéphane was cheered by the audience means they he gave an amazing performance to the satisfaction of the audience to the point that they cheered for him. Stéphane is currently signed to a Cameroonian record label called Jaiye.
At the Stanley Vs Enow concert, he performed “Che Woue” which is one of the songs from his album Gae Yeñ and this song has been remixed by Salatiel which you might have to listen to over and over again. link of song featuring Salatiel below:
After listening to Stéphane and Lesline, you can be proud to be a lover of Cameroonian music because with all due respect, music lives Cameroon.
Question:
Was there a better performance than the ones these two put out there? Tell us if there were better performances than theirs in the comments section.
