Happy New Month and boy am I looking forward to September.It’s been a while since I posted a note. I woke up on the last day of August feeling very motivated and found myself looking back at all the work I’ve done so far with branding The HotJem and I suddenly felt a feeling of pride. YES! My vision of the The HotJem took a life of its own.
I have come to realize that if you are waiting for validation from people (or from those who “believe” in your work) for the things you do extremely well, you will wait forever. Therefore, one must validate their own work and efforts and its OK to do so.
I have also realized that there will be people who can never be happy for you or will never admit that you are amazing in what you do. Maybe its because they couldn’t do what you were able to achieve or do, or maybe its because they are just plain HATERS and subconsciously wish they were you.
Whatever the case, they JUST CAN’T come to terms with it… with your success. Such people will go above and beyond to stain your name and come up with every excuse in the book as to why you achieved success or are very good at something!
Those type of people don’t know that they are the reason I always go above and beyond to succeed in everything I do! So that they have something to always be mad at since they can’t be happy for you anyway. The HotJem has been a website that I have ran consistently for the last almost 5 years as in continuous flow of content.
I’ve worked so hard to run and maintain this blog site (WWW.THEHOTJEM.COM) consistently for some years now and God knows how many sleepless nights I’ve had catching up on emails and trying to do features, write-ups and all.
I hear today is World Bloggers Day so I would like to selfishly celebrate ME, MYSELF & I for the great work I have done with The HotJem and in using my online platform to endlessly discover, promote and showcase our hidden Cameroonian and African talents, businesses and treasures.
It’s OK to accept your gifts and take the credit where credit is due. No one needs to tell you that you are doing a great job to claim it. So I’m claiming my amazing gift of blogging. Thanks to those who have supported me all the way.
