African foods are filled with many flavors and spicies blended together to give it a unique and delicious flavor.
As lover’s of African cuisine, we thought we should share three of our favorite weekend meals that are great to have if you are planning to stay in all weekend long, that will keep you nice and full. Here they are:
- KOKI CORN
A classic favorite in Cameroon (and also eaten in Nigeria), Koki corn is a delicious stand alone meal made by mixing beans and corn as the main ingredients, pepper, salt, and a touch of palm oil (if you want). It can be eaten with vegetables on the side, rice aand stew or tby itself without any other food with it – if you really enjoy the flavors. It takes great with a nice cold glass of Pamplemousse (grapefruit soda) and also goes well with classic red wine.
