Hello THJ’ers and welcome back to our wedding section where we showcase African weddings across the world- particulary weddings from Cameroon. The reason why I say across the world is because many at times, Africans in the diaspora, be it in another African country from their country of origin, Europe, US, West Indies or just anywhere in the world tend to keep their traditions alive by having a “traditional wedding” which usually has cultural rituals and other acts of “theatrical” display (as I call it) all of which usually leads up to the man taking his wife from her family (to sum it up in a nutshell).
If you havent attended a typical African Traditional wedding, then you need to. It’s a very interesting experience.
