Cameroonian artist, Tzy Panchak causes controversy online, after calling some of his colleauges “cowards”. Talking to Kinnaka’s blog, Panchak said: “…some anglophone artists now sing in mostly French because they know the francophones run the music business in Cameroon and so they want to sell out. My honest opinion is that those artists are cowards, reasons being you can’t be a chief in your village and you address your people using a language that they don’t understand …”
Cameroonian music fans didn’t take it lightly and they started firing shots at Tzy Panchak who just signed a record deal with Blu Nation. A facebook user shared the interview, calling out Tzy panchak as seen below
And the comments were quick to follow … Cameroonians have no chill lol
Tzy Panchak responded in a rather suprisingly calm way. explainning that he meant “some” Anglophone Cameroonian artists and not all. Also that he was expressing “his opinion”. Check out his comment
