Speaking outside 10 Downing Street, U.K Prime Minister – David Cameron announced that he is going to step down by October after the UK voted to leave the European Union. In a broadcast statement Friday morning, David Cameron acknowledged that the British people had decided to “follow another path” to his campaign to remain, and that they therefore “need a new prime minister.” According to BBC, The Prime Minister had urged the country to vote Remain but was defeated by 52% to 48% despite London, Scotland and Northern Ireland backing staying in.

The U.K. Decision has been highly contested by many, but what are you thoughts? Do you think the United Kingdom did the right thing? Watch the Video of his speech and then leave your comments and/or thoughts about this below!
