Senegalese-American hit-maker Akon may have shown his preference between Davido and Burna boy as has picked Davido over Burna Boy. According to Akon, Davido does not get as much credit as he deserves.

While speaking on Drinks Champs, Akon was asked by the host to pick one of the two Afrobeats superstars without wasting time.The ‘Lonely’ singer said:

“Oh! I will probably go with Davido. Oh! David, that kid right there is a beast. He is the beast.”

He went further to explain his decision.

“He is another one I think that deserves more flowers than he’s received.”

The topic has since caused massive controversy as fans of both artists are at loggerheads. Recall that Busta Rhymes gave Burna’s flowers just a few days back. Nigeria is seizing all attention that there is in the music industry at the moment.
