56-year-old Actress Viola Davis took to stage in a lovely hot pink pantsuit by Safiyaa, at the Colosseum at Ceasars Palace in Las Vegas during Sony Pictures’ CinemaCon presentation on Monday evening, where she was greeted with a standing ovation by the audience.
Davis became the first-ever recipient of the annual conversation’s Trailblazer of the Year award. Davis, who is renown for her contributions to the Hollywood industry, takes on what has been described by many outlets as the “fiercest”in the movie The Woman King which is set to release in September.
Directed by Gina Prince-Bythewood, The Woman King is based on the real life female warriors of the 18th and 19th century West African Kingdom of Dahomey.
