2. FHISH REMAINS UNAPOLOGETIC
As we all know, Kowan was to be the only performing artist at the movie premier, but there were some adjustments made as the alleged “stubborn boy” Fhish and his entourage which he calls his “Government” will be given a place after the drama of a week ago.

Fhish who was recently banned from participating in a contest at the ‘Njieforbi Music Festival’ in Douala (for allegedly threatening to attack hiphop artist Stanley Enow in a public video posted on Fhish’s Facebook page), where he would have performed alongside with one of Africa’s biggest artists – Diamond Platnumz, as well as Stanley Enow and Blanche Bailly the same weekend of the movie premiere, did not hesitate to accept and invitation to attend and perform at the Broken movie premiere with his “Government“.
Although the ban was later lifted, this time it was Fhish and his “Government’s” turn to snob the offer as he declined to perform at the Njieforbi Music Festival, while accepting to instead perform at the movie premiere.
Many considered him not honoring the offer to perform at the festival as a missed opportunity as who knows what could have turned out had he performed with Diamond Platnumz who is one of Africa’s biggest name in the music industry. But Fhish had other plans.

He mounted the stage after Kowan and threw a few catchy words to try to catch the audience’s attention. But many did not seem too excited watching his performance compared to Kowan’s. If they were, they didn’t openly show it.
After Fhish’s verbal and angry rants targeted directly at Stanley Enow and his Motherland Empire team on a video published less than a week prior to the premiere, many had expected Fhish to apologize to Stanley. But to the shock of many, he did not. Instead, he followed up with a string of videos still attacking Stanley Enow, and we can only assume that acceptance to perform at the movie premiere was to affirm that his career does not depend on big names like Diamond Platnumz (and even the King Kong aka Stanley).

During their performance, the Fhish Squad attracted a few people on stage but despite the dormant response from the audience there were a few celebs like singer turned actress Nabila and singer Montess aka the Queen Kong who were spotted vibing along to Fhish as he performed. Fhish vibes was felt but not strong as the kind of energy and performance he put out there.
A Review Of the Movie “Broken”
It might be fair to say that the hype around KOWAN and Fhish also contributed in making this a successful movie premiere, taking nothing away from the outstanding “Broken” movie team that organized the premiere and amassed a large turnout that night.
