It’s about to get quite interesting in the days ahead as some of the most talented, influential, and consistent Cameroonian artists gear up for their highly anticipated concerts. While Salatiel will be heading to the South West Region for his 10th anniversary, Tenor will be heading to Garoua to kick off his tour, and Kocee will be headed to the Littoral Region in Douala for his own concert.
1. Salatiel has been in the music industry for over 18 years, but as a professional singer, it’s been 10 years of tremendous success and milestones. As a result, the Highman general will be gracing Molyko Stadium in Buea to bless his fans on February 14th. It won’t just be Valentine’s Day, but also a 10th-year anniversary celebration for the only Cameroonian artist to have worked hand in hand with artists like Beyoncé. With two bountiful albums in the bag, there will be so much music from Salatiel and other artists who will join him to celebrate a decade of excellence.
2. Tenor is undoubtedly one of the hottest rappers in Central Africa, and his journey has been nothing short of phenomenal. His musical success is one that many artists only dream of achieving in their careers. He will be heading to the 30,000-capacity Roumdé Adjia Stadium in the North Region. This is a rapper pushing himself beyond his limits with the aim of filling a stadium that not many big football teams have been able to fill. His concert will take place on February 10th. What can we expect from “Salazar,” who also has a plethora of hits to offer his fans in an extended show?
3. Kocee has been incredibly hard to beat when it comes to his work ethic and intentionality in his career. Regularly referred to as the “Cameroonian serial hitmaker,” Kocee is hosting his first-ever concert in Douala on March 15th, at Canal Olympia. The last artist to perform at Canal Olympia was Nigerian Patoranking, who had artists like Kocee and Locko perform as well. This is the night “Credit Alert” was birthed, and it turned out to be an intriguing collaboration.
With Patoranking finding it difficult to fill Canal Olympia, it won’t be an easy task for Kocee, but with the kind of support and street credibility he’s got, there’s absolutely no doubt that his March 15th concert will be a blast.
Where will you be during these blockbuster Cameroonian shows?
