Nigerian sensation, Ayra Starr, reveals that she has a degree in International Relations from the University of Benin. The “Rush” singer said,
“I wanted to start my career really early but my mom said school first, so I had to focus and get my degree first. I got my degree when I was 18, in International Relations and Political Sciences and I’m looking to further my studies, but I’m currently taking French lessons and Piano lessons.”
She also revealed that she comes from a good musical background and was pretty sure music was something she wanted to do. She also wanted to be a teenage sensation.
“I come from a music background and my family supports me fully. My little sister is my Personal Assistant and by brother is my videographer, so they really support me, and that keeps me going”, she added.
She went on to say she wasn’t sure when they produced her hit song “Rush” which already has over 100 million YouTube views, however her record label boss Don Jazzy told her that this was the song that they had been looking for. It is hard to prove him wrong.
