We are back with another edition of “What You Didn’t Know“. Today we’ll talk about the Basenji dog.
Did you know the Basenji dog is the only Dog that does not bark? Unlike other dogs, it does not bark. How ever it makes a noise than sounds like Yodel when happy. It gets along with any other type of dog but doesn’t get along with its own breed.
The Basenji dog has also been described as a Clever intelligent and stubborn dog. It has longer legs and makes it easier for it to run faster. It has a short black red coat which helps it to cope with the hot African Climate. Remember it is an African dog which originated from Central Africa (Congo) . It has a lifespan of 12-14 years.
