The carefully planned out promotional tactics leading up to its premiere was phenomenal with teasers being thrown at us on a daily basis on the movies social media pages and website, was enough to make us crave and lust for the movie even more. Saving Mbango is hands down the most talked about and anticipated movie this year. It’s buzz even surpasses the buzz for another upcoming Cameroonian movie “Broken” produced by actress Syndy Emade’s knows how to create buzz around her movies and projects.

If you know anything about the movie, you will notice the movies was done in a village/farmland setting. Therefore, the dress code theme was something to the effect of “traditional wear” probably to pay homage to the setting of where Saving Mbango took place since it depicted Mbango and her love interest as a girl from the village.
Let’s just say that most of the celebrities who attended the event did a great job sticking with to this theme. However, as much as there were many hits, there were a few misses as a few didn’t get the theme.
If you ask me, if a theme for a dress code is set for an event, it should be stuck with unless it’s left open. If someone invited you for their party and they say Tuxedo and ball gowns only, you can’t be mad if you turn up wearing jeans and being kicked out of the party.

Then why have a dress code do you will choose to come in with whatever. Some people want their events to look a certain way and you should respect that. If that can’t be followed then it’s not a problem. Just don’t attend it because you are going against their wishes. That’s just our take on it.
