I was not going to post this as I had already read through so many of the comments about People Magazine photoshopping Serena’s picture two days ago but I think it’s amazing how fans notice every detail about these celebrities. They said the original picture made her waist look much smaller (as seen in the picture on the top left). I would not have thought much about it (or even noticed it) had it not made headline news when Serena’s picture was displayed and in excitement as she was showing the world that she made the most beautiful people in 2016 list by People Magazine.
Do celebrities have to now care about what their fans think of how their pictures are being taken? Some celebrities don’t care at all if their pictures come across as flawless and if they look perfect in them as a result of it being photoshopped… like Beyonce who’s pictures have in the past been called out for making her look much slimmer than she really is. Afterall it is entertainment isnt it? We want to believe that these celebrities are perfect right? Don’t we tend to live our fantasy world through them even though the message sometimes may be distorted as it might make young girls and boys think they need to be perfect? Food for thought!
