3. Not Being Used (Ignored)
Some artists are really very talented but for some reason, they end up being signed to labels with many artists. Have you ever sat down and wondered “Where is this artist now“?
This happens everyday. Just like in a football team, some players who are really so go good always end up on the bench. They end up not being used despite their talent meanwhile some people who are not even as talented as they are getting opportunities. Never to be part of such again, many prefer to break free and establish their own labels, where they’d call the shots.
4. The Dream to Own One
In many cases, some artists don’t actually leave a record label to create theirs because there is a problem with the initial label as many always make it to seem.
Many artists, before signing to a label had a dream to own one. After attaining a certain level of growth and acquiring some papers, they go own to continue the pursuit of their long term dream. It is always sad that many have to do it the hard way, especially if their employers have gotten so used to them and don’t want to let them go. In some cases, the two labels just come to reasonable terms.
