Almost everyone faces this issue of peer pressure. The idea here is that most artists watch their peers go on to create record labels and the fact that they don’t have one makes them feel less accomplished and to level up, they go on to quit their current labels to create their own personal labels so as not to get left behind. However. Many do this without the mastery of the business and they always end up weeping at the end of the day.

Just because some artists choose to accept record deals at the beginning of their careers doesn’t mean they can’t go on to create or establish their own personal labels if it’s in line with their goals and plans. However, many go on to establish their labels for reasons best known to them.
