This write-up is not to judge or condemn. Jovi on the other hand expects an apology before a thought of reconciliation, because he holds it strong that he was highly disrespected by Stanley. The most confusing thing is that, most fans don’t believe Jovi will even accept an apology if Stanley apologized. These set of people are those who enjoy the beef for their personal glory and don’t want peace to reign.
However, both will need to forget about the ego and put the growth of the Industry primary. Both have proven beyond reasonable doubt that they have the power to cause an upset and as such, they could fix – Dunamis, which is the dynamic ability to cause changes. Jovi sits in Cameroon and cause an upset in the Africa with a tweet, Stanley goes out of Cameroon and does collaborations with big names. Now imagine what peace between these two would bring to the country?
Whether we accept it or not, in the Anglophone community, Jovi and Stanley as artists are the most influential and the division among two means a division in the community. The bottom line is, if these two who are actually the first leaders of the generation of urban music in the industry remain this way, what can we expect from the next generation which has been copying from? Something has got to change. It should no longer be about who is right, but they have got to put an end to it but the question here is who will?
