While the world seems to have been overtaken by coronavirus, a lot has been happening in African showbiz behind the scenes. One of those things that we could not let pass but talk about is Nigerian pop star Davido confessing that his rival Wizkid, inspired him to do music. Are you shocked? Well, we are still trying to digest this confession.
For over seven years, Davido and Wizkid have stayed on top of the Nigerian music scene for the most part as bitter rivals. The rivalry had divided the Nigerian music into two and it was either Davido or Wizkid. Their rivalry could be compared to the Jovi and Stanley Enow feud that does not look like it will end anytime soon.

It can be said that the feud between both artists made them work increasingly hard to stay on top of things, which includes popularity, net worth and relevance.
It is fair to say both artists have been getting along since Wizkid surprised everyone, when he brought out David to one of his concert tagged WIZKID:THE CONCERT on December 24 2017, where they both performed Davido’s “FIA” hit song in the concert, officially squashing their beef. The end to the beef didn’t end the competition between both though.
